Join Cylburn Arboretum for Market Day, a beloved community gathering, plant and craft sale that’s been a Baltimore tradition for more than 50 years!
Just in time for Mother’s Day, Baltimore City’s beautiful 200-acre arboretum is the perfect place for families to learn about and enjoy the outdoors, and to purchase flowers and garden-related gifts. Family friendly food trucks, pollinator activities, live animals, face painting and more!
Guests have the rare opportunity to tour and purchase plants from the Baltimore City Recreation and Park Greenhouses which supply the Rawlings Conservatory, City Hall, median strips and other gardens throughout the City. Greenhouse plants include extensive collections of coleus, rare and unusual plants, and hanging baskets.
Find an array of local and regional vendors offering plants, crafts and unique garden accessories.
Hosted by the Cylburn Arboretum Association (CAA), Market Day brings the community surrounding Cylburn together at one of Baltimore City’s marquee parks.
Proceeds from both events support the Cylburn Arboretum Association and its work at Cylburn Arboretum (Greenhouse sales benefit Baltimore City Rec&Parks to support its city-wide plantings).
I will be attending my first Big Fish Deal, hosted by the Capital Cichlid Association, as a Sunday vendor. I am bringing a variety of nature-based art work as well as new fish and aquatic life-based artwork.
I’m looking forward to meeting fellow aquarium hobbyists and sharing my art with cool fish people. Hope to see you there!
